Huinnyeoul Culture Village has been on the radar of many locals and foreigners ever since Kang Daniel started to get famous back in 2017. His hometown is in Yeongdo, Busan, and thus Yeongdo started to get many visitors. One of the locations that started becoming popular due to its quaint surroundings and spectacular view of the ocean was Huinnyeoul Culture Village.
Through a local’s recommendation, I decided to check out the Huinnyeoul Beach cafe instead of the other trending ones such as Aether. What a lovely choice it was indeed. Apart from the shockingly bright pink exterior of the place, the interior exudes a warm and cozy atmosphere. There are a total of 4 areas: the first floor where you place your order, the rooftop, the basement, and finally, the outdoor terrace section.
The moment I enter the cafe, I’m reminded of a home. Though renovated, the building holds the shape of what it once was. The rays of sunlight seeping in through the wide glass windows gave the place an extra touch of coziness. The white walls, brown chairs, and patio furniture drew perfect contrast with the blue waters in the background.
It’s a lovely place to relax, watch the ships go by and the sunlight shimmering in the waters as you sip on a cup of hot coffee. They do serve various cakes and pastries as well that were delicious!
During the warmer seasons, the terrace would be an excellent place to take in some Vitamin D while enjoying the breeze of the ocean. I wouldn’t be surprised if people slept here overnight either. This place seems like an extremely fun place to crack open a can of beer and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks at night.
One of the better cafes I’ve been to in Korea with lovely vibes, great value products, a beautiful view, and a unique experience.
