Busan Lotus Lantern Festival 2024
The Busan Lantern Festival continues the tradition of the nationally designated Important Intangible Cultural Asset No. 122, held in the Busan area. This festival, which has been passed down for over 1,300 years as our unique cultural heritage, is a celebration where people from all walks of life come together to wish for harmony and prosperity in our society on Buddha’s Birthday. The main events include the Blessing Ceremony, Lantern Parade, and Traditional Lantern Exhibition, aiming to preserve and develop our traditional culture.
