The 44th Jindo Miracle Sea Road Festival

Jindo’s Sinbi’s Seaside Road, designated as the 9th national scenic site, stretches approximately 2km between Hoedong-ri, Gogun-myeon and Modo-ri, Uisin-myeon. During the 12th day of the lunar month, usually in February, when the tide is at its lowest, the path between Jindo and Modo is revealed due to the significant difference in tidal levels, with a width of 30-40m. Every year during the festival period, numerous domestic and international tourists visit Jindo to witness this phenomenon, enjoying about an hour of walking along the completely exposed seaside road.
